Favorite Part of Traveling – Stacey
I got this message from Stacey the day we depart for South Africa:
- My favorite part of traveling is that all the parameters that define one here drop away as soon as you enter the plane, cross an invisible border and embark in a foreign land. At this point, you are defined only by your intention to explore, learn, befriend and meet whatever happens, expected or unexpected, head on, knowing that with a lot of faith and a bit of ingenuity all will be as it should; it is part of the adventure and of living in the moment, and sometimes the most unexpected detours off the predetermined route are the most enlightening. Some people say they travel to explore another place – I know I travel to find myself in every other place and human being along the way.
To find ourselves… onto South Africa.
Hey sukh….how are you? Well I could really say is that you are an amazing guy…It takes a lot of courage and heart to do what you are doing…and that is amazing! I wish you all the best…and God is always going to bless all of you guys for your great genorasity and kindness…People like you are what make our society a better place…I will keep you and all of your friends in prayer…Take care and good luck with everything :)
Hi Sukh and all,
I have been praying for you all and holding you all close to my heart. I have just read a few of the entries about your visits to the townships and your trip to Robben Island. How amazing to see first hand the human spirit and good triumph over evil. How amazing to know that forgiveness is the key to happiness and peace. I hope that all of you may consider putting together a photo/writing journal of this trip, and make it available to the rest of us. What a great gift.
I am sure that your trip to the beach with the children will be a memorable one. There is so much that can be discovered when one stands in front of the ocean.
Well, dear friends, hope you are all doing fine. I will try to keep up with your journal entries. Thanks again for being in South Africa and for being present to the people there.
Keep on discovering the wisdom of the people.
Love and Peace,
Ann
Hi Sukh and BTCers,
What a nice surprise to see this post! :) I hope the trip is creating many moments of service for all of you. I can already tell from the journal entries that in Africa you all are finding the similarities that connect us as all as one race – the human race. The blog stories have brightened my day and brought a smile to my face.
Lots of love,
Stacey

Hey…so just read this post by Stacey. Stacey, always touched by your written words of wisdom! So being in the moment..hmmm…much enlightenment for me in that department. I never would have fully enjoyed our adventures if I wasn’t staying within each moment. Felt like all was meant to be as you wrote when I did this. Toodles, G
