This is a traditional bullock cart, still used in many parts of india. This is my neighbors, in front of my grandpas house. They are used for transport of people, usually workers, but mostly for heavy items or commonly for sugar cane from the fields.
This is my grandfather’s house in the village of Karachka. It is quite old and noone lives here anymore. Part of it has been rented out as a snack shop. My dad says its the “shack” of the village, as many people have torn down the old houses and made modern big ones now. I like to come here and visit everytime I am in India. I don’t have too many memories with my grandfather, but when I come here I can still see the image of him sitting on the swing inside the house.
